Let's make music together.
A great and fun way to ignore crazy rhetoric and disturbing ideologies. Peace through live music.
It's time for all jazz musicians and fans to come together united over the cause of promoting the music of jazz in our local community. Fans, artists, teachers and students can offer a variety of ideas and skills to finally create into Olympia a self-sustainable jazz culture that will carry into the next generation. We know this because of our willingness to collaborate together along with the sincere mutual respect we have for one another will birth successful efforts to enrich Olympia's cultural life with live jazz. Let's make sure that everyone has a welcomed seat at the banquet table. The American art form of jazz can not be ignored, neglected nor laid aside but it must continue to be embraced as an essential component of our national conscious and cultural resource and protected in our proud history as Americans.

Welcome, Richard! I hope you can join us for dinner soon. I am thinking about a dinner along a "family favorites" theme so you might like that one :)
Hi Mugomboo,
I'm excited about this flute group. I'm planning on coming to the first gathering on Saturday, but I've been having technical difficulties when I try to join or RSVP. Anyway, a friend and I plan to be there.
Thanks,
Myrna Lee Hilmo
Hi Richard,
we are doing a house concert for Haitian earthquake victims at 2102 Bush Ave NW featuring Bebop Revisited, Bevy (Brevy, really--we only have half the band able to be here) and Rebirth. The medical needs of the earthquake victims are still critical and we will be donating all proceeds to "Partners for Health" and "Medicins sans Frontieres".
The music begins at 6pm with Bebop Revisited, with a short set of Bevy--er, Brevy, ending with Bert Wilson's original music in REBIRTH.
